Confidential settlement of clients’ accounting malpractice claims against Big Four accounting firm alleging negligence in provision of tax consulting advice given in connection with clients’ sale of oil and gas properties.

Fiduciary Duty/Shareholder Oppression:

Confidential settlement and buyout at fair value for client, minority shareholder, in claims against majority shareholder and company directors for shareholder oppression and breach of fiduciary duty.

Contract/Breach of Warranty:

Arbitration award on breach of warranty claim in favor of client, drilling company, requiring original equipment manufacturer to replace defective frac pumper, purchased by client for $1.35 million, with new frac pumper and reimburse client for part of its costs of arbitration. Case was arbitrated and award obtained within 60 days after initiation of arbitration.
