Widely used by estate-planning and trust and probate litigation attorneys, the book contains the text of the Texas Probate and Trust Codes, as well as selected other codes, case annotations, charts, and commentary.

Campbell Harrison & Dagley client wins federal district court dismissal of class action claims brought against multiple corporate defendants under the federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, in which the plaintiffs alleged improper access of state motor vehicle records.
Justin Campbell addresses the Texas Bankers Association at their annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas, speaking on the subject of the Prudent Investor Act. In his presentation, Mr. Campbell invited participants to reflect on whether and how they had implemented the requirements of the Act since its enactment on January 1, 2004, and discussed approaches to solve problems actually encountered by participants under the Act.

Federal district court confirms $28 million settlement of CMS Energy Corporation’s employees’ retirement and stock ownership benefit plans ERISA claims against CMS Energy and certain CMS officers and directors. Campbell Harrison & Dagley is co-lead counsel for the class plaintiffs with Keller Rohrback.
United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirms $2.9 million punitive damages award to Campbell Harrison & Dagley client in action for breach of fiduciary duty against a national investment management company. Sarofim v. Trust Company of the West, 440 F 3d 213 (5th Cir. 2006).
Campbell Harrison & Dagley clients win an order from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas vacating an arbitration award against them in a case brought by clients’ former employer alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement and breach of contract. The firm defended the former employees pro bono in the arbitration proceeding and the appeal to the federal district court.

The Partial Settlement will allow a claim in Enron’s bankruptcy proceedings in the amount of $356.25 million (less attorneys fees and expenses) to the Settlement Class, with an estimated value of over $100 million. Federal court in Houston approves $30.75 million settlement of Dynegy, Inc. employees’ retirement benefit plan claims under ERISA. Campbell Harrison & Dagley acted as co-counsel for the employee plan participants, with Keller Rohrback and Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll.
State district court jury returns $34.2 million verdict in favor of Campbell Harrison & Dagley clients and company president (separately represented by co-counsel) following three week trial. Suit alleged breach of a letter of intent to sell corporate subsidiary, fraudulent inducement, wrongful termination of company president and defamation. Verdict listed as one of National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts of 2004.
